Another piece I bought at a local flea market, I got it for $6 which isn't bad since it also came with the 3 jars on top with lids, it was a basic wood bread box and now it's something more than Basic!

I bought this piece at a yard sale for $1, I turned it into something that makes me want to hurry up and put some pip berries and stuff inside and place it in the center of my table for all to see.

Craft room finally gets a new look…

After months of hard work and tons of patience, my craft room is done. Now on to re-doing the floors (well that will wait a bit) but I am loving the way it looks and it's all mine.

Window brings in new light…

Hubby and I got this house in December 2008 and here is what the back porch window kinda looked like. We added our magic touch and a picture window we got on Craigslist for $50 in and waala... Bad thing is when we got this house it was nothing but utterly freezing in this porch. The previous owners only had storm windows and let the water damage continue rotting the wood beams, well not anymore!

Bare hallway/stairwell gets a boost!

This hallway/stairwell was once a mess... a water damaged mess until we worked hard to fix it up. While alot of time and money went into it, now it's looks just perfect. I will update this as I get more pictures... but here's what it looks like when someone comes up or down the stairs. Eye catching?

Bathroom get’s a makeover!

When my husband and I bought this house 12/31/08 it needed a bunch of updating. So we pinched our pennies to fix it up but my favorite color wound up in the bathroom, I mean like who puts their favorite color in the bathroom? ME! I love how it turned out, it's so inviting.

Centerpiece gets a new meaning!

I bought this centerpiece at a yard sale for $1 and revamped it with some spray paint and some sandpaper and then adorned the inside with some cool pip berries and a small candle!
